Remote Programming Internship
• During my internship, I helped develop a model in R Shiny that is used for calculating costs for various foodborne illnesses. Users can modify certain parameters such as the number of yearly cases,
hospitalizations, or deaths. The program then runs a Monte Carlo simulation that predicts possible outcomes based on the information given.

• During my internship, I learned about various technologies used to run the day-to-day operations of a business network.
• I became familiar with concepts such as Remote Management, Professional Services Automation Software, IT Documentation, and security principles.
• I took an online training course that emphasized strong customer service skills.
The programming languages I am most familiar with are Java, Python, Kotlin, R Shiny, SQL, HTML & PHP.
I've dabbled in JavaScript, React, C++, and C# however I am not as profecient with those.
